Link Campus University organized 2 workshops entitled “The role of Mediterranean Universities Changes: Innovation and Cooperation” and “Who’s voice has not been heard yet? Universities for change”

Rome, Italy, 20 May. Link Campus University organized 2 workshops entitled “The role of Mediterranean Universities Changes: Innovation and Cooperation” and “Who’s voice has not been heard yet? Universities for change” on the 20th of May in the Library of the Link Campus University, Rome, Italy with the presence of HE Mr. Franko Frattini, Minister of Italian foreign affairs, Prof. Vincenzo Scotti, President of Link Campus university, Prof. Joseph Mifsud, President of EMUNI university, Samir Riyadh, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Minister of State for Science and Technology (Egypt), Wajih M. Owais, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Jordan), Prof. Amr Jalal Al Adawi, President of Beirut Arab University, Prof. Nehale Farid Mustafa, Dean of Business faculty in Beirut Arab University and EMUNI-ENPI Team Leader, and a number of selective rectors and professors from different universities of the Mediterranean like Hacettepe University, Turkey, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, Al Quds University, Palestine, Diplomatic Academy of London, UK, Cyprus University of Technology, Cyprus, and more.

HE Elisabetta Belloni, General Director for Development Cooperation - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, have started with an opening word followed by Presidents, Rectors and Professors from University of Rome, University of Napoli, Hacettepe University, Beirut Arab University, Al Quds University and others. 

Prof Joseph Mifsud highlited the importance of meetings discussing the different possibilities of cooperation between all the universities which are participating to the meeting. He also pointed to the role of EMUNI which is always present to lead all agreements aiming at bringing euro med universities together. 

Also there was a word for Prof. Nehale Mustapha where she stressed out the importance of the ENPI project for the Mediterranean region.

At the end of the workshop, Prof. Vincenzo Scotti, President of Link Campus University, and Prof. Joseph Mifsud, President of EMUNI University thanked the guests for their presence.
